We met the proa “Mareinoa” on the baltic sea for an unofficial and spontaneous proa meeting. Two large proas sailing together are a rare event, we hope to do it more often in the future!
Both proas are very impressive.
I suspect just the winches and deck hardware on Mareinoa cost more than your entire project!
According to the owner, the material to build her main structure was at least 10 times of what we have spent on everything. Not speaking of the time in the yard and the later improvements and changes. But she’s way larger so its unfair to compare.
